& Awe

To help fulfill our mission, Laura's Garden donated over 40 butterfly growing kits to local elementary schools in May of 2023.

Students in  kindergarten through sixth grade spread their own wings as they made observations and discoveries while practicing responsibility, caring for their butterflies.

This project-based learning experience provided a wonderous opportunity for students as they explored metamorphosis, pollination, biodiversity and life cycles.

Weeks later, these students released over 200 Painted Lady Butterflies into the community. These pollinators immediately soared, as their proud care-takers cheered!
